Final call for info & photos: Forever Forward K-9 Operations in Vietnam 1960-1972

Hi all,

Forever Forward: K-9 Operations in Vietnam 1960-1972 (working title) is scheduled to be out next year. The publisher is Schiffer Publishing. I need to have everything to the publisher by the end of the year. I've contacted many people and will continue to do so. If you have stories or info that should be included let me know. This will be the last opportunity!! A lot of photos (both b/w & color) will be included (approximately 250-300 to be published). If you have hi-res scans send them along or photos I can scan. I need photos of the different memorials around the country, Air Force veterinary photos, dogs in helicopters, Thailand photos, anything unique that can brought to the table. A photo release will need to be signed. If there is something that needs to be told - this is the final call. This is meant to be the most comprehensive history of K-9 ops in Vietnam (including all service branches, ARVN, and Australian). The last chapter deals with the VDHA formation, how war dog teams have been recognized over the years, and current affairs.

Thanks to everyone's support over the years. This is not my story but your story - any help is truly appreciated.

Best (ARF!) Mike Lemish/VDHA Historian. K9writer@charter.net
