tracker dog(steve carter)

i meet a steve carter who said he was a mine dog handler...attached to the 63rd tracker dogs....i believe he said in 1969....i do not find any info on him....he is from ohio...does anyone have any info on him or remember him?

Gary,

To the best of my knowledge the US Army Mine Dogs were all assigned to a unit called the 60 IPSD for an evaluation period during 1969.

The USMC ran a similiar program in 1970.

If you will go to the 60 IPSD under "War Dog Units" Army
I think you will be able to get in touch with their VDHA Unit Director.

The guys story may be true, at this time we don't have enough information to find out.
