| K-9 Veterans Day Lake ElsinoreI will be representing VDHA at the 2nd Annual K-9 Veterans Day in the city of Lake Elsinore, CA. on Saturday, March 8, 2014. It promises to be a day of celebration all across the country. It will commemorate the use of the first MWD in military history, March 13, 1942. There will be lots of food, military memorabilia, dog exhibits and live dogs to entertain the crowd. All former dog handlers will be honored. | re: K-9 Veterans Day Lake ElsinoreJust received word from the coordinator that the date has been changed to Sat. April 12th to coincide with the Michigan and Pennsylvania K-9 Veterans' Day celebrations.
