Thank you for Renewing your VDHA Membership!
NOTICE: VDHA DUES AND DUES REDUCTIONS HAVE CHANGED EFFECTIVE 01/01/2012. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE INSTRUCTION FOR FULL DETAILS.
This document is divided in to two sections. ACTIVE and EXPIRED membership Renewal.
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL:
Your membership dues must be current and you must be logged in to the Member Area.
1. At the top right of the VDHA Home Page, select "Member Area", then "Membership Renewal".
2. You should now be on the "Membership Renewal" webpage.
3. Please fill out the form as completely as possible, noting that all items with an asterisk (*) are required fields of information. Any additional information you care to give will assist us in contacting you about your membership.
4. When finished, select "Arrange Dues Payment".
5. Payment Option 1: You may send a check or money order to the address at the bottom of this page.
6. Payment Option 2: You may use PayPal. Click HERE to read the FAQ named "How Do I Sign Up for PayPal and use it on the VDHA Website?"
EXPIRED MEMBERHSIP RENEWAL:
Your membership dues have expired, you have an existing member number, even though you might not know what it is, you might have been an inactive member for several years, and you can not login to the Member Area.
1. At the top left of the VDHA Home Page, select "Membership", then "Membership Renewal".
2. You should now be reading the FAQ about "Membership Renewal".
3. Payment Option 1: You may send a check or money order to the address at the bottom of this page.

Dues Reduction: Service Connected disability of 49% or less pays full yearly dues ($25). Service Connected disability of 50% to 79% pays one-half yearly dues ($12.50). Service Connected disability of 80% or more entitles you to Lifetime Membership (FREE). WWII Veteran Dog Handlers and Korean War Veteran Dog Handlers Pay NO Dues.
Military Service Connected Disability rating Documentation is required, and is shown on the VA Service Connected Disability rating form. This is the rate that we calculate your membership dues discount.
HOWEVER: You may have a Service Connected Disability Rating thru the VA of 10%, 25%, 50% etc., but are being paid by the VA at a different rate, i.e., 50%, 75% or 100% due to additional determinations not service connected such as "unemployable", etc. The VDHA does not calculate your membership dues discount using this percentage.
Reduction of dues does NOT apply to Lifetime Membership Dues or Lifetime Non-Combat Handler/Supporters (Associate Membership) Dues. You may pay your dues via PayPal or send them to this address:

Make check payable to "VDHA". All Donations are Tax Exempt. The VDHA is a 501(c) (19) (a) tax exempt, non profit organization, Incorporated in California IRS #33 0690480 Final Determination as to Membership Type will be at the discretion of the VDHA Board of Directors. |
