I entered the AIR FORCE 05/27/67 basic at Lackland AFB, Security police school, dog school. My first dogs name was Joe unknown tattoo no. My first duty station was Altus AFB. OKLAHOMA. Went to Vietnam 09/68 to 09/69. STATIONED AT TSN AFB WITH 377th SPS DOG HANDLER. My first dog was CHIEF-E940, and he was put down 01/06/69. My second dog was VOGIE-A927. She had a split on her nose. She was euthanized 02/72. I left Vietnam 09/69. Went to Barksdale AFB, LOUISIANA. Got early out in 10/70. I am a Civil Service worker at FORT SAM HOUSTON, SAN ANTONIO, TX. I am married to my wife of 36 years, Charlyn. We were married 12/72. We have three boys and five grand children. I plan on retiring in Nov. 2010. |
