| | Biography: I went in the voluntary draft when I was 18, I went into ranger school after basic, then dog school. I was in the 37th IPSD with my dog Ranger(787M). I was mortally wounded on March 16, 1969 when a mortar shell went off next to me, my dog, and my RTO. During my time in Vietnam I received the Bronze Star with "V" device, and also the Purple Heart.
On June 3, 2011 I passed away, my grave is in the Jacksonville National Cemetery in section two towards the back pound. The cemetary is located at 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, FL 32218. I leave behind a Wife, two daughters and a son. My son is the one who updates this page periodically. |
