Bama handled King F477 at Phu Cat from early 1968 to Sept 1969. He was well thought of and will be missed by Phu Cat Handlers, family and friends.

Obituary for MARSHALL ALLEN DABBS

Marshall Allen Dabbs, 73, of Hueytown, passed away February 28, 2019. Marshall was raised in Bessemer and graduated from Bessemer High School in 1964. He served two tours of duty during Vietnam, in the US Air Force, and as part of the 37th SPS Canine Corps, at Phu Cat Air Base. He retired from US Steel after 35 years of service. 

Marshall was preceded in death by his parents Maurice Dabbs and Elizabeth Dabbs; daughter-in-law Penny Morrison; brothers Powell Dabbs, Phillip Dabbs; and sister Eileen Olive. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Sandra L. Dabbs; son Bruce W. Morrison (Gidget); daughters Kelly Williams (Kelly), Staci Perry (Michael); grandchildren Molly Williams (Joshua Coger), Ashlyn Sandlin, Katie Hooper (Sam), Macie Merritt, and Maggie Perry; great grandchildren Finley Merritt, Evelyn Hooper, and Fletcher Hooper; sister Nancy Fisher; Service brothers Doug Davis, Jim Holzer, Richard Batsa, Richard Rhimes, Al Gunderson, Larry Wheeler, Richard Harris, John Gulick, and Larry Barker; and lifelong friend and classmate Boyd Martin.
