Subject: Phan Rang Taps 366-35th-31st
I'm sad to report that
our long time friend Colin Fallat passed away this morning at 02:15 after a
long battle with Cancer. Colin was one of the
early K9 at Phan Rang with the 366th. He then went on to the 31st at Tuy Hoa.
Colin had a Master of
Engineering, retired from the Army Corp of Engineers at Lake Cachuma in
Southern California and moved to Arizona after retiring. He was an
accomplished artist in pottery and clay fired goods and spent time every
year in Taos, New Mexico at an annual art fest. He had no family that we
know of.
He passed along his wishes to his best friend Phil Savage and
they are as follows:
Colin requested no
services and wanted nothing to be sent on his behalf. He will be cremated and
then transported to a ranch near his childhood home in Montana and his ashes
will be spread.
We will surely miss a
good friend that was always a pleasure to be around.
R.I.P. Colin
