 Working flight line security at Da Nang, in front of B-57 Bombers Biography:
Served in US Army, 61-64 at Ft. Benning, 6/61-6/64 as MP. Joined USAF 9/64, assigned to Ent AFB, CO until 3/65, then volunteered for VN. Assigned DaNang 3/65 to 23rd ABG, subsequently transferred on paper to 6252nd Spt. SQ, then to 6252nd APS. Took over Shep A902 8/65 from A2C Luis Guzman who was TDY in country. Crossed trained Shep to unk handler 3/66 and was transferred to Moody AFB, GA, discharged in 9/68. Joined Ga State Patrol 10/68, rose to rank of Sgt before going to Federal civil service. Retired 3/2005 from Ft. Lee, VA as Resident Special Agent, Defense Security Service. Although now licensed as a PI in Virginia, I mostly do nothing but enjoy retirement. |
