40 years is a long time yet seems like yesterday as we huddled at Guard-mount listening to orders. Remember the diesel fumes of the posting trucks? Since then my work shifted to career counseling to assist employee transition during layoff. My philosophy is to serve professionally and personally care much the same as we did as Sentry Dog Handlers as the first line of defense for perimeter security during hours of darkness. |
