Subject: Terry Strickland

I received a voice message from Terry Strickland’s daughter while I was out today letting me know that he passed away.  Her message stated:

“Just wanted to call you and let you know that dad passed away this afternoon. We don't have the funeral arrangements yet but the funeral home is Harold funeral home in Austin on frontier Trail”

As you know, Terry had a significant impact on my life.  From his arrival at Korat RTAFB in March 1969 to his departure in March 1970, he was a moral compass to the 388th SPS K-9 Section, and up to reaching the point of being incapacitated, he was a friend and encourager to our contemporaries at in training at the DoD Dog School at Lackland AFB.

Please keep his family in prayer and share this news with our Brothers in VSPA.  I will pass on any information I get.
