Blood disease

Recently read an article on the Michigan War Dog Memorial site how the military classified K-9 s as equipment and left behind. No mention of their fate.Almost every dog developed a blood disease a form of leukemia and were euthanized,including my dog Marty.Remember getting a copy of his death cert through this association.Our vet tech "Doc" Johnson claimed this was caused by Agent Orange.Read somewhere that the military version was due to a tick bourne disease.Any feed back would be appreciated .
