Patrol Dog Handler, Lackland Dog School, May 1968, class 27038. I brought patrol dog Fritz 8M31, in country, on 02/11/1969 and worked him, until May of 1969, when I moved to Kennel Attendant. I did some crossover training sentry dogs to patrol dogs with SSgt Joe Bewer.. I performed the duties of overseeing our Thai Guards and working with our Vets Capt Andrew Mills and Capt James Dale. TSgt George Martin was Kennel Master upon my arrival in Udorn. MSgt Gordon Hammer replaced TSgt Martin as Kennel Master midway through my time as Kennel Attendant. Feb 8, 1970 reassigned to Mather AFB, 320 Bomb Wing, K-9 Section. I took an early out in June of 1971 to complete my education at Cal State University Fullerton. |
