12/19/2012:

"Just got a call this afternoon from Chris Jackson, Kenny's [Ken Jackson] son.

He was going thru his dad's old navy stuff and came across a list of names and phone numbers and gave me a call.

Ken passed away on November 20th, 2012 of liver failure. He had a liver transplant about 10 years ago and would need another but made a decision not to go thru it again."

Ken and I served together during my 1st tour in Nam.... will always remember him as good people, and most always good for a laugh even when times got bad...

RIP Ken...
