Phillip Anthony Bagnall

Phillip Anthony Bagnall, aged 77, of Mineral, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on October 12, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy Bagnall. He is also survived by two daughters and their spouses, Wendy Gilman (Scott) and Virginia Jenkins (Michael), and two grandchildren, Andrew and Bethany Gilman. He is the brother of Patricia Hartley and the late Stanley Milford Bagnall Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Stanley Bagnall.

Phil proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, including two tours of duty in Vietnam. After returning to civilian life, he built a fulfilling career as an electrician in the telecommunications industry. Phil loved all kinds of woodworking and especially woodcarving. He also loved camping at Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park.

Family and friends are invited to honor Phil’s memory at a funeral service at 11:00 am Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Dogwood Baptist Church, 5677 New Line Road, Gum Spring, Virginia. A visitation with family will be held at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow the funeral service at Spring Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, 111 Bridge Road, Mineral, Virginia.

Arrangements are entrusted to Sheridan Funeral Home.
