Subject: Passing of Lifetime Member
I am heartbroken to inform you that VDHA Lifetime
Member Jim Hannon passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019, in Tampa Bay,
Florida.
Jim, with his dog Bullet, were members of the original
"First Wave" going into U-Tapao, Thailand. (See Photo Below.)
Jim never attended a
reunion because he didn't want to be a burden to others because of his
disabilities. However, he supported the VDHA and the 635th SPS K9 to the day
he died.
He is now in heaven where he is free to move around and take Bullet
for a daily walk to visit with his younger brothers, Patrick and Bruce.
I
will truly miss one of my dearest friends. My he rest in eternal
