I went to K-9 training at Mather AFB in the Summer of 1967. My first dog was Captain, I received orders to U-tapao Thailand in February 1969 my dog assigned was Mac 7X34. My final duty assignment was March AFB where I was used to transport a dog to Goose Bay Canada and upon returning received an early out to become a police officer in Washington DC retiring after twenty-four years. In later life I became a victim of Agent Orange and have had several issues related since.
